Kids Mindfulness Workshop

The ability to recognize and regulate emotions has become a challenge with a fast paced, technology-focused society. Through the practice of mindfulness and mindful visualizations, we can learn how to understand what we think, and how our thoughts affect our physical body.

This workshop gives children and their parents/guardians an opportunity to practice mindfulness and become more aware of their body and their feelings. The children will learn how to talk about their feelings and work through their emotions, while parents learn ways to respond to their children’s emotions in a positive way.

It will include:

An interactive storytime as the children take a journey through Gypsy Dharma's Farm (a book written by Tierney!!). The animals all have tips on how to calm the mind and body through breathwork and body movement.

Amanda will then provide a special Make & Take to give the children some tools (stress ball and an essential oil rollerball) they can use to help regulate emotions.

*Recommended for children ages 4-10
